Day 03: Today, journey from Paro to Punakha, stopping at the ruins of Drukgyel Dzong and the sacred Kichu Lhakhang temple. After breakfast, drive to Wangduephodrang, home to a formidable Dzong that played a crucial role in Bhutan’s history. Then, continue your journey to Thimphu, the charming capital city nestled in the Himalayas. Spend the afternoon at leisure, exploring the traditional shops and museums lining the main street.
