Arrive at the picturesque Paro International Airport, surrounded by the majestic Himalayas. Be greeted by our representatives and soak in the breathtaking views of the Paro valley as you travel to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital. Spend the night at a comfortable hotel in Thimphu.
Embark on a full-day tour of Thimphu, blending traditional charm with modernity. Visit iconic landmarks such as the Memorial Chorten, Trashichho Dzong, and the National Library. Explore the rich cultural heritage at the Art School, Traditional Medicine Institute, and Handicrafts Emporium. Delve into Bhutan’s textile history at the Textile and Folk Heritage Museum before retiring to your hotel for the night.
Travel to Punakha / Tashithang, marveling at the scenic beauty of rhododendron and magnolia along the way. Pause at Dochula Pass for panoramic views of the Himalayas. Enjoy a riverside picnic lunch near Punakha Dzong before continuing to Tashithang for an overnight camping experience.
**Day 04: Trek from Tashithang to Damji**
Begin your trek by the riverside, trekking through semi-tropical forests and villages. Keep an eye out for leeches and wild orchids as you ascend to Damji village, where you’ll camp for the night.
**Day 05: Trek from Damji to Gasa**
Continue through semi-tropical forests to Gasa Tsachu, famous for its hot springs believed to have curative powers. After a rejuvenating bath and a delicious lunch, trek up to Gasa Dzong and camp below the fortress.
**Day 06: Trek from Gasa to Chamsa**
Visit the historic Gasa Dzong before embarking on a challenging climb to Bele La pass. Descend to Chamsa campsite at an altitude of 3,650 m for the night.
**Day 07: Trek from Chamsa to Laya**
Embark on a long day of trekking from Chamsa to Laya, traversing diverse landscapes and breathtaking scenery. Reach Laya, a picturesque village nestled in the mountains, where you’ll camp for the night.
